Newborn kittens, a collection book, a school cat and brushes with fame
Version 0.9.0 is a warm one: tiny newborn kittens and your own litter in the scene, a book of everything your cats have met, a school cat, local festivals on their real dates, small animals that move — and a real search for a new home when you are pushed out.

Newborn kittens, and your litter in the scene
Kittens now start tiny, with their eyes still shut, and grow up stage by stage. If you become a mum, your own litter is drawn beside you in the scene and grows with them, until life takes them somewhere else.

A collection book
Every place, animal, festival and famous moment your cats meet is kept in one book, across all their lives. What you have not met yet waits as a silhouette, with a hint of where to find it. Open it from the Explore card on the home page.

Brushes with fame
Some lives pass close to real moments around the world, like a world flower expo or a glowing runner in the night. The cat has no idea what it is looking at, but you will. At the end, the end card lists “You were there when…”.

The school cat
Some street kittens grow up at a school: a teacher with treats, a kid who shares lunch, a stage to sleep under. Then comes graduation day, and you decide where to be when the big kids leave.

Local festivals on their real dates
Matsuri, hanami, temple fairs, rocket festivals and more arrive in their real months, for cats living where they are celebrated. A cat now follows its own calendar from its birthday, so a July kitten in Japan meets a summer night market.

Pushed out? Find a new home turf
When a new boss takes your spot, the food runs out or you are put out, you lose your turf and really have to find another. Until you settle, the World tab says “No territory yet”, and food and rest are harder to come by.

Small animals on the move
Pigeons peck, koi swim and a dog sleeps and breathes: small animals now move quietly in the scenes. They are part of the place, and your cats can meet them for the collection book.

Tighter stories: focus and temper that matter
When you move, the old home’s people and pets stay behind, and mum and littermates follow their real fate. Every yearly focus has its own moments and a year-end line, the temper you pick changes real choices, and what you chose comes back in later years.
