From your feedback: real choices, many names, 80 endings
Version 0.8.0 is built from what you told us: strays with a real way into a home, a partner cat, habits that matter and moves with real reasons — plus many names, 20 new endings, kinked tails, 4 new languages and a festival calendar.

Strays: a real way home, and moves for real reasons
A player told us a stray's life felt like watching time pass. Now, when a kid or a feeder reaches out, you choose: go to them, wait, or walk away. The odds are honest and differ by country, and the person who takes you in is the one you already know. Moving is never a free button: you move when a new boss takes your spot, the food runs out, or your human moves house.

A partner cat, and habits that matter ✦
Some cats now meet a partner or a friend cat with a real name from their country, who comes back season after season. House cats get everyday moments — the vacuum, guests, a bird at the window — and the way you keep answering becomes who your cat is. Once a habit sticks, a ✦ choice appears that only a cat like yours would pick.

A cat has many names
Mum gives you a name at birth, then the owner, a feeder or the neighbours call you something else. “My names” on the cat tab shows who called you what and from what age, with ● for the name you answer to now and ★ for the one you heard most. Over 3,600 real cat names from 25 countries, checked by hand.

20 new endings — 80 in all
Grow old under a kotatsu in Japan, on a warm floor in Korea, under a mango tree in Brazil, or waiting by the door. Street cats get their own: the market regular, the pier cat, the keeper of the temple steps.

Kinked “hook” tails
Short tails bent into a hook are common in Thai and Southeast Asian cats, and now some kittens are born with one. How often depends on where you are born, based on genetics studies of street cats in the region.

4 new languages
Filipino, German, Portuguese (Brazil) and Italian join as beta translations — 16 languages in all. If a line reads wrong, tell us from ⚙ Settings and we will fix it.

A festival calendar
Each festival arrives on its own day, and only for cats born in the countries that celebrate it. First up is Día de Muertos on 1–2 Nov in Mexico, then Diwali, Loy Krathong, Christmas and New Year. Religious and remembrance days decorate the home but never dress up the cat.

Halloween hats stay on the memorial
Cats born during Halloween (30 Oct–1 Nov) in countries that celebrate it wear a pumpkin bandana, a witch hat or a pumpkin hat for life. Share one to the memorial and its card keeps the costume and a 🎃 next to its name.
