Cozy mode, pigeons and riverside fish, seasons that match the calendar
Version 0.9.2 adds Cozy mode for players who want a gentler life, brings pigeons, riverside fish and tomcats into the street, and makes every season card follow your cat's real calendar. It also fixes the cat that sometimes went missing from the scene.
🌿 Cozy mode
Real cat life can be hard to read. Cozy mode is for the days you want only comforting stories: no cruelty, no early goodbyes, and a long life that ends gently. It is off unless you choose it. Pick it under the Play button before your first life, or turn it on or off any time in ⚙. A life keeps the mode it was born with. Cozy lives are counted apart from the world numbers, so the real-life statistics stay honest.
Pigeons and riverside fish
Street cats now share the square with pigeons. Stalk them, rush the flock, carry one home as a very proud gift, or meet the white-winged pigeon that taunts you every morning. By the water there are fish: the temple pier in Thailand where people throw bread, a stilt jetty in Malaysia and the river steps in Vietnam.
The live interview
Your human sits very straight in front of the laptop and talks in a polite voice you have never heard. Behind them, in full view, you are asleep belly-up in the armchair. Keep sleeping, stroll across the camera or leave the room. One of them might make you famous.
Tomcats
An intact male who lives outdoors now grows into a real tomcat: round cheeks, a thick neck, a long low song from the wall at 3 a.m. Hold a stare-down, keep a rival on your wall, or make peace at opposite ends. Fights leave real wounds, and your human notices the scratches. After neutering the dares fade: softer cheeks, longer naps.
Seasons that match the calendar
Snow, the kotatsu, summer heat and the rainy season now come only in the months they really happen in your cat's country, in the north and in the south. A winter card no longer shows under a summer header, and there is no snow in Bangkok.
The missing cat is fixed
On a shaky connection the cat picture sometimes failed to load and the scene showed no cat at all. Now it tries again on its own, and when it arrives your cat comes back on the birth card, the home page and the life scene.
